With the celebrations of Sant Antoni still present, Xàbia is preparing to celebrate the festivities in honor of its patron, Sant Sebastià, starting next weekend.

The events, organized by the San Sebastian commission and the Taurine Cultural Association, will start on Friday afternoon with the first release of heifers through the historic center in the afternoon and a second release at night, as explained by the president of the ACT, Guillermo Bolufer.

On Saturday and Sunday will be repeated the release of heifers to which will be added, on Sunday at 11: 30 hours, an activity for children with carts and a giant inflatable bull.

From the Sant Sebastià commission, Vicent Salvador, has added that they have also prepared a children's storyteller (on Saturday at 11 am at the House of Culture), in addition to the parades to call the party, which this year will be both in Duanes and the Historic Center, and the solemn mass dedicated to the patron, which will be on Sunday at 12 noon. The program is completed by two discomobiles in the Plaza de Baix that will begin at the end of the bullfighting performances of the night.

Salvador explained that this year they have 21 mayorals that will ensure that the party is increasingly rooted in local festivities.
