The festive atmosphere is already palpable in the streets of Xàbia's historic center, where residents have been working for months to transform their corners into scenes filled with creativity, color, and tradition. As every year, several streets have joined in the festive spirit, decorating with care and passion to welcome the town's important days and, if possible, win the award for best decorated street.
Vandalism
This effort, the fruit of neighborhood unity, has become a symbol of local identity. Each street reflects the collective effort, shared joy, and commitment to the festivities. However, it wasn't all celebration: on the first day of installation, acts of vandalism marred the excitement. On Sant Pere Màrtir Street, some of the side decorations were torn off, causing sadness and helplessness among the residents.
Despite this, the festive spirit remains strong and visible. Although vandalism has marred the efforts of some, residents haven't let it dampen their enthusiasm. These decorations are the result of months of work and represent the passion for keeping their traditions alive.
Currently, five streets feature spectacular decorations, each with a different theme, demonstrating a high level of creativity and dedication.

My DEAR AND MISSED, JAVEA, THAT JAVEA (FROM THE 50'S, UNTIL I REACHED THE 80'S), LONG LIVE THE FALLES OF SAN CHUAN, VIXCA XABIA, at least the traditions never change,,,…💜❤️🤎♥️💜❤️🤎♥️
Everything is really beautiful. I love it, but Shinchan and the cherry blossoms are from Japan. All the streets are very beautiful. Please, city hall, take measures against vandalism, put a security guard and issue fines. Just because it's a holiday doesn't mean anything goes. And above all, stop selling alcohol to minors in nightclubs. How is it possible they do something that's completely illegal? 14-year-old kids, completely drunk. Who can think of that?
