The Department of Children and Youth, together with the different groups of Xàbia, has prepared a calendar full of educational, sporting and environmental events for children and adults. The activities for the coming weeks are:
Arbor Day – January 26
To celebrate Tree Day, a special route has been planned along the Antigua Senda del Guarda, organised by the Xàbia Hiking Centre. It is an activity open to children and adults, ideal for enjoying nature and promoting environmental awareness.
The departure will be from the Plaza de la Constitución at 8:30 am and the return is scheduled for around 14:00 pm. Prior registration is mandatory and can be done by sending an email to cexxabia@gmail.com or calling 699355370.
Minitrail 2025 – February 1st
For sports lovers, the Minitrail 2025 is coming, an exciting outdoor race that will be held in Pinosol Park as a preview of the main event of the granadella Trail. This activity is free and is ideal for young athletes.
The Minitrail will take place on Saturday 1st February, starting at 16pm, and the categories of barrufet, prebenjamin, benjamin, alevín, infantil and cadet can participate. Those interested in participating can register through www.mychip.es.
Leisure activities at the Cívic Punt del Arenal
And during this first quarter of 2025, the facilities of the Punt Cívic del Arenal will host a program of recreational and educational workshops aimed at children aged 4 to 12, which are as follows:
- January 18: Emotiglobus Workshop and Minibingo of Emotions. The workshop will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- February 22: Recycled toys workshop and Green Planet Superheroes Gymkhana. It will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- 22 March: Spring workshop and musical games. It will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
These activities are free, with limited places, and are designed to encourage creativity, learning and respect for the environment in a fun environment.
