The Department of Sports of Xàbia recovers one of the most popular tests of the local comxicotetive calendar. It's about the Swimming Crossing It reaches its 27th edition and will be held June 3.000 in the morning. The comxicotetion will take place in three distance modalities: the absolute category with XNUMX meters (starting at the Arenal Beach), the middle distance with 1.500 meters (starting at the first Montañar) and one of 500 meters designed for young people or people who are starting to swim and that will run through the interior of the Grava, where all the tests will finish.
Registration - places are limited by health security - will open this Friday, June 11, and will be available until June 23 through the website www.crono4sports.es.
Councilman sports, Alberto Tur, has explained that, as a result of the pandemic, the local open water swimming circuit has not yet been reactivated as it was held until 2019. However, from Xàbia it has opted to promote the local race, thus giving motivation to swimming fans, and at the expense of returning to normality in the comxicotetive circuits of popular sports next year.
Tur has wanted to thank the collaboration that the Nautical Club, Llebeig Athletics Club, Excursionist Center, Canoeing Club, Surf Club and Marina Nou Fontana provide to the event, in addition, Red Cross and Local Police, so that the test has all the security guarantees.
