The Soler Blasco de Xàbia Museum hosts this Thursday, November 21, at 19: 30 hours, the presentation of the proceedings of the VI Congress of the Institut d'Estudis Comarcals de la Marina Alta. It will present a work on smoking pipes originating in the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries found in different sites of the municipality of Xabiero.
At present there are several inventories that have been found in deposits such as those of Granadella, Portitxol or Tangó. The municipal archaeologist, Ximo Bolufer, will talk about what is known about the founders of the thirteenth-century villa, based on studies and excavations such as those carried out during the last renovation works in the church square.
The act will also serve to deliver to the members of this cultural association the volumes that compile the studies carried out around this meeting, although it is open to all those interested in local history.
