Xàbia presents in Fitur the promotional spot of "2022. Balenciaga Year in Xàbia" a cultural event that the Town hall He hopes that it will be an extra incentive to visit the municipality and to revitalize urban centers during the summer, since it will be distributed in the municipal art halls of the Casa del Cable (port) and CA Lambert y Soler Blasco Museum (Historical Center).
It will be from July 1 to September 30 when you can enjoy in Xàbia the exhibition "The Balenciaga Century", an exhibition that investigates the work of the great master of haute couture throughout the 3th century, until the closing of their houses in Paris and the XNUMX in Spain.
The exhibition will have a complete selection of textile pieces from private collections -some of them will see the light for the first time in this exhibition- and is reinforced by a powerful documentary support
that tells us about the evolution of Balenciaga towards success and international recognition.
Another novelty is the search and investigation of the figure of Balenciaga in relation to the city of Xàbia, which he met thanks to friends who had a second residence and with which he fell in love. A heart attack and his subsequent death broke that crush.
The exhibition project is curated by Pedro Usabiaga and will be complemented by a day of conferences and debate directed by Lydia García and with specialized speakers to talk about Balenciaga's work and legacy.

The video is a simple cut and paste to sell beach and sun, not to present an exhibition on a designer like Balenciaga .
