Good news and hope has provided the new data update on the evolution of the pandemic in the Marina Alta region. In four days a total of 12 infections have been registered in the Dénia Health Department, on which the entire region depends, which seems to slow down the possible fourth wave.
With the new infections, the region accumulates 9.792 positives since the beginning of the pandemic of those who are active 56. The accumulated incidence decreases with respect to the previous week, standing at 32,6 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
The other positive data from the Ministry's update is that the Marina Alta has not added new deaths for the second consecutive day, so that the total number of people who have lost their lives in the region as a result of the virus has been 199.
On the other hand, of the total of new cases registered (12), no positive has been recorded in Xàbia, so for another day the total of cases registered since March 2020 of 1.442 of which only 5 remain active. Likewise, the accumulated incidence of the town drops to 18,11 cases per 100.000 inhabitants.
