Xàbia maintains its three Michelin Stars

14 December 2021 - 22: 18

One of the most anticipated events in the gastronomic sector took place tonight in the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, specifically in the Auditorium of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía. This is the Michelin Gala, in which the Michelin Star 2022 awards were presented to the awarded restaurants.

On this occasion, Xàbia has not received any new Star, but it maintains the ones it does have. Bon Amb Restaurante and Tula Restaurante continue to be in the Michelin Guide. In the case of Bon Amb, with Alberto Ferruz in charge of the kitchen, it maintains its two awards, while Tula Restaurante, with Borja Susilla at the stove, continues with its award.

The pandemic has continued to hit the gastronomic sector hard in the last year, but our chefs have known how to be at the foot of the canyon and hence this recognition.

With regard to the new awards that have remained in the Marina Alta region, there have been two more. The chef of Dénia, Quique Dacosta, who has been the host of the subsequent culinary appointment of the event, has added his third Michelin Star. Likewise, the Peix i Brases Restaurant in Dénia, has collected its first Michelin Star.
