Xàbia launches a new consumer voucher campaign for Christmas

November 28 from 2022 - 13: 25

The Councilor for Economic Development of Xàbia, Ximo Segarra, has advanced that the Town hall will launch a new campaign of subsidized bonds during this month of December to encourage consumption in local businesses and support neighbors in their Christmas shopping.

The mayor added that on this occasion, the voucher will be physical to make its use easier. It will have a physical credit card format and a total value of 100 euros (the individual will pay 50 euros and the other 50 will correspond to the subsidy). Thus, when a purchase is made in participating businesses, the card will be passed in different purchases and establishments until the balance of the card is exhausted.

The campaign has a budget of 140.688 euros and is subsidized by the Diputación de Alicante. A total of 2.813 bonds will be put up for sale.

Segarra explained that the City Council has all the processing ready and is waiting for the Provincial Council to approve the bases in order to establish the deadlines for this campaign and expand the information to those interested.

In this sense, it has encouraged the businesses in the municipality -especially those that did not adhere to the previous campaign- to prepare all the documentation for when the time comes to register (the certificate of the census situation and that of being up to date with finance and social security).

I found this action super.

If you don't buy, you save 50 euros. Think 24 hours before buying, if you really need it. Most of the purchases, within 24 hours of having acquired it, are left over.

And they say that we live from Tourism when the reality is this, that they have to divert public money disguised as Bonds so that the population can buy in stores. What will be next? Food stamps? Terrible.
