Councilman tourism, Antonio Miragall, as well as the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, have presented today the 'Decalogue of the Responsible Tourist'. A document that had already been prepared for the 2020 tourist campaign but that was paralyzed because of the State of Alarm and with which it is intended to make residents and visitors aware of the responsibility of caring for our environment.
El Decalogue, as indicated by the mayor, it is published in six languages (Spanish, Valencian, English, French, German and Dutch) and will be distributed by the different tourist companies in Xàbia as well as hotels or tourist activity establishments in sheet format following the line of responsible destination work and will be advertised in 18 mupping and canopies located in different parts of the town.
Among the 10 points highlighted in this informative document are: Minimizing the generation of waste, respecting the rules of coexistence, respecting the rules and habits of the place, supporting local commerce and its gastronomy, and traveling on foot, by bicycle or public transport.
For his part, the mayor of Xàbia has highlighted that the main key to this decalogue is "Responsibility. Responsibility for respecting the landscape, the chosen destination, and currently, responsibility for the health situation in which we live."

Shameful is not enough, ridiculous, childish, basic solemnity, pathetic, I don't know ... I could go on one afternoon ashamed of this embarrassing act. In my house it has been the comic bomb of the year.
