Five urban reform works will begin this September in different parts of Xàbia. The Guardia Park WWTP, the Arenal and Calderón Street, are the places that will see improvements in the coming days.
The Town Councilor, Isabel Bolufer, has signed, this morning, the act of staking three of these works (the step prior to the start of the work) and tomorrow two others will be signed.
The five works that are going to start are: The improvement works of the Park Guard WWTP, budgeted at 127.500 euros. The works will be carried out by the company Proemisa SL and is scheduled to end on December 2. With them the water purification of the whole area will be improved.
Also, Pavasal will carry out reforms on the sidewalks of Jávea Park worth just over 150.000 euros. This work includes replacing trees, changing sidewalks and installing new water, electricity and gas equipment. The work should be finished on November 11.
A similar work will be done on Paris Avenue, located in the Arenal area. In this case, the intervention is budgeted at almost 97.000 euros and includes the reform of sidewalks, pavement improvement, change of scuppers and replacement of trees. This performance must end on December 2.
The works that will be signed tomorrow (and whose beginning is also imminent) are those of Calderón Street, in which works to improve sidewalks, pavement and channeling of light and water will be carried out and have a budget of 19.000 euros. The winning company in this case is Vifuego SL The deadline for the execution of the work ends on November 18.
Finally, the works of Avenida del Arenal will be executed by the local company, Excavaciones Mayte, for a price of 53.300 euros.
As the mayor valued, José Chulvi “Once the summer campaign is over, it is time to resume small town planning interventions; works of moderate cost but very necessary to improve the quality of daily life of all our neighbors ”.
It should be remembered that these works add up to other interventions already very advanced, such as the comprehensive overhaul of Avenida Ultramar.
