The Xàbia Folk 2025 festival has unveiled its lineup for its 25rd edition, which will be held between April 11 and May XNUMX. At the official presentation, by the Councilor for Culture, Mavi Pérez, the Culture technician, Irene Buigues, and the event organizers, members of the Romántica del Saladar, Joan Buigues, Toni Torregrosa and Tolo Bas, pointed out that "once again, the event features a carefully curated selection of artists who combine tradition and modernity within the folk scene. Opening with Ataxía and Alidé Sans
The festival will start on April 25 with a concert-presentation by the group Ataxía in the House of Culture From Xàbia at 19:30 p.m. This Greek-Valencian band is known for its reinterpretation of Greek rebetiko, a genre with deep historical roots that conveys messages of peace and social justice.
In addition, and as a new feature this year, the Xàbia Folk organization has scheduled two concerts for the festival's opening day.
