Xàbia, tourist destination followed by thousands of people in social networks

Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, through the Valencian Institute of Tourism Technologies (Invat · tur), has published the Barometer of social networks of Valencian tourist destinations. This analysis will mark the promotional strategy in social networks of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana.

The Barometer, corresponding to the first six months of the year, reveals that the València, Benidorm, Alicante and Peñíscola destinations lead the main social networks used: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. But Xàbia is also among the most visited destinations. As for the brands, Costa Blanca and Valencia are the leaders in the ranking of the four networks.

On Facebook, Xàbia sees an average of 16.277 followers, while on Twitter, the number of followers it is positioned a little below 10.000. In Instagram, the network in which the biggest changes and evolutions are lived, Xàbia surpasses the 5.000 followers.

In the ranking of reproductions on YouTube, Xàbia has 17.459 reproductions.

In terms of tourist brands, the Costa Blanca continues to be the leader in Facebook with 78.076 fans and also in Instagram with 21.876.
