Xàbia allocates this 2021 more than 5 million euros for economic and social recovery

El Javea Town Hall will take full, this week, the approval of the bases of direct economic aid Paréntesis II, aimed at self-employed and micro-businesses that develop activities such as graphic arts in Xàbia,
jewelers, patisseries and confectioneries, stationery or bookstores, laundries, lingerie, corsetry and haberdashery, press sales, photographic services, trade in footwear, leather goods or special garments, retail and wholesale of beverages or tobacco and rentals of consumer goods.

The Consistory has reserved € 471.722,71 euros to finance these grants, which will entail a fixed amount of € 2.000 for each self-employed or micro-business, in addition to 200 euros per affiliated worker.

The aid will be granted in order of presentation of the applications in the entry register (once the bases have been approved, the deadline and the channels for requesting them will be informed) and, in case of surpluses, this will be used to increase the approved aid in a proportional manner. up to a maximum of 8.000 euros.

At the same time, the Xàbia City Council has the bases of other direct economic aid in the public exposure phase: the Recuperem Xàbia II, with a budget of 600.000 euros and also aimed at freelancers and SMEs that develop activities related to public and private celebrations, as well as commerce or activities
that were left out of other aid (clothing stores, headdresses, perfumeries, home and household goods, textiles and restaurants, leather goods, art galleries, toy stores, florists, masseurs, make-up artists and beauticians, sewing, hairdressing, beauty salons, academies of teaching, teachers, and for SMEs, with more than 10 workers, dedicated to activities related to the hotel and catering industry or culture.

Both lines are part of the Recuperem Xàbia II plan to which this 2021 more than 5 million local funds are destined and which range from social employment plans, rate bonuses, self-employment aid, suppression of rates such as activities or occupation of public roads or funds for social care.
