From the department of Xàbia beaches Contracts are being worked on to respond to the new needs associated with the COVID-19 health crisis, such as signaling and information signage or surveillance and control of access and gauging, already in the busy season. Likewise, the division of beaches for hygiene reasons has been ruled out.
Decalogue of recommendations for beach users in Xàbia:
1.- Maintain the safety distance to avoid contagion (2 meters) both on the beach and in the water.
2.- At the time of placing the towel or parasol, leave at least a strip of six meters free from the sea to guarantee access to water and walks.
3.- When walking along the shore and crossing with other people, you should always go to our right.
4.- Obey and respect the instructions of the rescuers, vigilantes and police.
5.- Take extreme hygiene measures and in moments of high concentration of people use a mask.
6.- Plan the visit to the beach and try to avoid the busiest times.
7.- Reduce the time spent on the beach so that everyone can enjoy it.
8.- Avoid contact with foreign or common elements / objects.
9.- Avoid smoking on the beach and do not leave a trace of your presence, take your trash.

The Xàbia City Council gives an intelligent and responsible response to the enjoyment of the beach and the sea. Let us hope that all citizens know how to take personal responsibility and listen to these recommendations that respect the freedom of individuals and call for social co-responsibility and solidarity.
Please that people do not throw masks on the street and that dog owners pick up the poo.
