Xàbia will create a job bank for the Municipal Music Conservatory

The Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante has made public the call for the Javea Town Hall for the constitution of a job bank for Professor of Management, to teach the subjects of management of
orchestra and choir direction at the Municipal Conservatory of Music.

The working day assigned to this position is 22,5 hours per week and the appointment will be as interim civil servant, Group A, Subgroup A2. Applicants must adapt to the schedules established for this subject, according to the Conservatory's schedule.

The functions to be carried out will be: teach orchestra conducting and choir conducting classes, and complementary subjects at the Municipal Conservatory of Music, among which are class preparation, faculty meetings, tutoring and participation in concerts and activities that are scheduled.

Requirements

The selection system of the applicants will be based on merit contest and to be admitted in the selection process it will be necessary to meet the following requirements:

• Be Spanish or a national of one of the other member states of the European Union or of those states to which the free movement of workers is applicable, under the terms provided in the State Law that regulates this matter.
• Be 16 years old and not have reached the maximum compulsory retirement age.
• Not suffer from illness or physical defect that prevents the performance of the corresponding functions.
• Not have been separated through disciplinary proceedings from the service of any public administration, nor be disqualified from performing public functions.
• Be in possession of the Graduate Degree in Music, specializing in conducting, in accordance with Royal Decree 631/2010, of May 14.

Submission of applications

Applications to take part in the selective tests will be submitted, within a period of ten business days, counted from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province (September 16, 2022).

All announcements of subsequent procedures will be published on the City Council's Notice Board and the City Council's website.

Together with the instances, the applicants will present a copy of the DNI, of the required degree, as well as a list of alleged merits and a copy of the supporting documentation of the same.

The selection process will be by contest phase.
