The board of spokesmen of the Javea Town Hall has agreed to start preparing a new public employment plan. On this occasion, the selection of employees would not respond to social criteria, but technical ones. Specific positions, with a technical or administrative profile, will be offered in municipal areas that require reinforcements.
As the mayor has advanced, José Chulvi, is one of the measures that all the parties with municipal representation have agreed to to continue supporting the local economy in these months full of uncertainties due to the health crisis. It will begin by making a diagnosis of the needs that drag the different municipal areas and a first draft of the plan will be prepared and the financial allocation will be specified.
The intention, Chulvi pointed out, is for workers to join during the first quarter of 2021.
This is the second employment plan promoted by the local administration in recent months. There are currently 34 people hired as forest laborers, construction workers, janitors or cleaning personnel through a social program with an endowment of 500.000 euros included in the economic and social reactivation measures after the COVID-19 crisis.
