Xàbia celebrates the proclamation of Inés Doménech as Queen of Fogueres 2019

On Saturday night, the Constitution Square of Xàbia, once again, was filled with atmosphere and public to celebrate the proclamation of the maximum representative of the Festivals of Les Fogueres de Sant Joan 2019, Inés Doménech Font.

The night, which was cool in temperature, began with a parade by the protagonists of the 2019 festivities, the fifths, accompanied by the 2018 festive representatives, other municipalities and their positions this year. The tour took place from Town hall, passing through the main streets of the historic center until reaching the place of the gala.

At 23 hours, as scheduled, the event began. A video commemorating the sewing work of the costumes opened the Xàbia festivities. The event was presented by Raúl Martínez, who participated in the opening of the event.

After the imposition of the pennant on the banner and with the presence of the president of the Festival Commission and the councilman Festival On stage, the proclamation began. First, the 2018 charges took the stage to pass the relay to 2019 and bid farewell to their year of festivities. The presidents appreciated the effort, work and support carried out by all the people who contributed their time and dedication during their year; family, commission, friends and colleagues.

And the most anticipated moment happened after midnight. When the bridesmaids were presented, Inés Doménech was proclaimed Queen of Fogueres 2019. With a big smile, Ines took the stage accompanied by the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi.

After the imposition of the band, the Queen of 2018, Marta Arnal, said goodbye in tears, thanking everyone for the work done and support received, mentioning the family, parties and friends committee; and advised the fifth of this year and festive positions, enjoy these days to the fullest "that happen very quickly".

In parliaments, Lola Ivars, Tony Miragall and José Chulvi encouraged the people of Xàbia to participate in each of the acts and go out to enjoy the festivities.
