The full Javea Town Hall has approved today, unanimously, the bases of the municipal subsidies to local athletes corresponding to 2021, a call endowed with 12.000 euros with which the Consistory collaborates in the expenses that the preparation and sports training requires of athletes, turned into benchmarks and models for the youth, with the purpose of favoring their improvement.
The subsidy, which may range according to demand between 1.200 and 100 euros, is aimed at athletes who in 2020 were between 9 years and 35 years old and have been registered in Xàbia or are members of a local sports entity for at least two years.
It may be requested by those who are federated or registered as athletes of Jocs Esportius CV, being linked to an active sports entity and participating in provincial, regional, national and international comxicotetions, and have athlete status.
The scoring criteria are detailed in the bases, as well as other conditions such as those that will be taken into account (trips, overnight stays or effects of Covid 19 on your activity). The bases and annexes can be consulted in the sports area of the MI Ajuntament de Xàbia, located in the Palau d'Esports from Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 21:00 hours or at this link.
Once the bases are published in the Official Gazette of the Province and the notice board, applications may be formalized during the following 15 days, either in person at the Citizen Service Office (OAC) or electronically through the section "Catalog of Procedures" of the Electronic Headquarters of the Xàbia City Council.
