El Javea Town Hall will open this Thursday, May 21, the deadline for submitting applications for the social employment program which offers 34 positions to carry out forest fire prevention work
forest and public road cleaning and maintenance, as well as custody, cleaning, repair and maintenance of municipal public buildings, among others.
Specifically, six jobs are offered for construction officials / Public Roads / Gardening - Forest; 18 Laborers / Public Roads / Gardening - Forest; five of cleaning operator and another five of janitors.
This program is included in the plan for social reactivation due to the emergency caused by COVID-19 and is aimed at people who have been enrolled for a minimum of three to six uninterrupted months in the public employment service and are not receiving any benefit or subsidy .

Applications must be submitted between May 21 and June 9, preferably through the electronic office at www.xabia.sedeelectronica.es; however, they may also be physically presented at the Office of Citizen provided they have made an appointment. Without this prior appointment (which can be requested by calling 966508851 from 9:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.) no one will be attended.
The social employment program, endowed with 500.000 euros, is part of the City Council's measures in the face of the social and economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 health emergency. The selection of applicants will be made based on social criteria and will score: seniority as a job seeker, if you are a beneficiary of the social services, have a mortgaged or rented home, be a large family or have a spouse and children of working age -who live in the same family unit- and who have also been unemployed for a minimum of 3 months, and do not receive unemployment benefits or subsidies, among others .
