The students of Port de Xàbia school have started the new course with the aim of moving forward with the cleaning of the environment and specifically of our coastline. Therefore, after making four outings in the past yearIn the Grava beach, and collect a total of 72 kilos of waste, the center has informed that there will be new departures during this school year.
At the moment, four new days have been marked for "together help to have a better world, a cleaner world". The first one took place this Monday, being the fifth exit of the campaign 'Quinstic plastic!' and in which, the students of 5º and 6º course collected a total of 8,965 kg. of waste in one hour: 3,275 kg plastic, 4,530 kg organic, 335 gr glass, 605 gr paper and 220 gr butts.
Amazing data that make schoolchildren take on new illusions to raise public awareness of the importance of caring for the environment and the sea. To these exits of cleaning, of 1 hour of duration, are invited all those neighbors who want to contribute their grain of sand.
