Xàbia is preparing to once again host the long-awaited comedy series COMEDY dijous; a monologue event full of wit, laughter and good humour that will return in 2025, with its ninth edition and with the aim of filling the audience with laughter.
The councillor for culture, Mavi Pérez, explained that with a diverse and quality programme, this cycle has been prepared to enjoy the best humour in all its styles. In addition, he wanted to invite everyone to attend and live a unique experience full of laughter and good times.
El Javea Town Hall invites locals and visitors to enjoy this fun programme, with free admission, which will make Thursdays an opportunity to unwind and enjoy the best humour.
Comèdia Dijous Programming
The programming of the IX Edition of Dijous de Comèdia 2025 promises in the coming months, a selection of shows that will offer monologues by prominent comedians. The comedy cycle, organized by the Town Hall from Xàbia, will start on February 13 and will last until May 22 with performances in various locations in the municipality.
This classic of the town's cultural programming will start next February 13, with the monologue What a disaster, Starring comedian Saray CerroIn this show, Cerro shares with her characteristic sarcastic and witty humor her personal experiences, from love disasters to absurd everyday situations, passing through the eternal search for her identity as an adult. The appointment will be at 20:00 p.m. at the Duanes Library in Xàbia, a space that will become the epicenter of laughter.
The cycle will continue February 27 with Xin Xin Mic, a dynamic and casual improvisation show starring Lluís Mosquera and Carles CuevaTwo friends, two microphones and an endless number of comic situations born from spontaneity: one launches a premise and the other finishes it, creating a continuous game of replicas and witticisms that intensifies with the reaction of the audience. Every time they get a good laugh, they toast... but not with drinks, but with the microphones. This show will take place at 20:00 p.m. in the Portal del Clot Multipurpose Room.
El 20 March, COMEDY dijous will feature a monologue by Bianca Covacs, a very legal Romanian where the comedian laughs at the prejudices she faces due to her Roma origin, but with Russian and Hungarian parents. With a fresh and acid approach, Bianca will offer a comic perspective on everyday life. The appointment will be at 20 pm in the Library of Duanes de Xàbia.
El April 24, Jesus Manzano will take to the stage with a monologue full of unexpected twists and touches of personal humor. With a calm and serious attitude, this comedian will surprise the audience with a unique and fresh style. The appointment will be at 20 pm in the Portal del Clot Multipurpose Room.
Cycle COMEDY dijous 2025 will close the May 22 and with a double acting. Ruben Aparisi will present his direct and sometimes magical humor, while Maria Zamora, actress, presenter and comedian from Valencia, will bring her talent for improvisation and humor at every moment. The event will be at 20 pm in the Portal del Clot Multipurpose Room.
