The success of the participation of companies and the attendance of the public in 2017 to the first Nautical Fair of Xàbia, Sea Weekend, has caused that this year celebrate its second edition, that yes, with a greater surface of exhibition and route and more companies and marks expositoras.
The appointment with the nautical leisure will be the 13 and 14 of April in uninterrupted schedule of 10 to 19 hours, in the Channel of the Fontana and with gratuitous access. "An ideal date that seasonalizes tourism, as it is just the weekend before Easter, which will bring a large number of visitors to the town", commercial director Ricardo Burriel has pointed out in the presentation.
The manager of Marina Nou Fontana, Juan Fontes, pointed out that with this event the objective of Marina Nou Fontana is advanced, "That our port is not a mere parking of boats but a place where through activities and events we become a focus of attraction for our moorists and the general public."
Both Fontes and the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, the support and mutual collaboration in all the events have been appreciated. In addition, Chulvi has indicated that this event "It comes at a good time for the municipality as it makes more people come."
Sea Weekend; point of purchase
The Sea Weekend bets on the specialization and quality of the exhibitors to attract an audience that knows what they want. The strong point of the Nautical Fair of Xàbia is the clear segmentation of product and public, adding to this the entrance to the site for free. "The main novelty with respect to the previous edition is the modification of the route of the fair. Last year was held on Augusta Avenue, the street that separates the Canal from the interior Marina and this year, the route will be circular surrounding the Interior Navy. With this we won 500 square meters for exhibition and public area, so we can accommodate more exhibitors, with which we have confirmed more than 30 companies, and especially ships ", said Burriel.
"The main objective of the fair is to create a meeting point where people related to the nautical world, both individual and professional, can meet, interact, show their products and discover all the news and possibilities offered by this sector", said Juan Fontes.
And, the participating companies will show motor boats between 5 and 9 meters in length, both new and used, everything related to the world of sports diving (new and used equipment, courses, dives ...), leisure initiatives and nautical services (boat and jet ski rental, wakeboard, excursions, paddle sup, snorkel, sport fishing, repair and cleaning of boats, nautical fashion accessories ...). In addition, during the two days of the fair there will be parallel activities related to sailing (talks, presentations, children's workshops, demonstrations, sailing activities ...) and with the protection of the environment and the marine world as the main protagonists.
