The recipe book of 'Rebostería de la Marina Alta' returns to the bookstores of the region

Nine years ago, coinciding with the celebration of the 400 years of the expulsion of the Moriscos, the MACMA published the recipe book Rebostería in the Navy. A book with a prologue by Juan Vicente Garcia Marsilla, professor of Medieval History at the University of Valencia, aimed to demonstrate how the sum of cultural exchanges that have taken place during the last centuries in our region are the basis of the cuisine that we currently enjoy and disseminate .

After the success obtained in that first edition, now the MACMA takes to the bookstores of the Marina Alta a new edition to continue expanding the echo and value of the traditional sweets of the region.

Rebostería in the Marina Alta, of one hundred pages, offers a total of 94 recipes divided into the sections of Pastas and pastelitos; Cakes, monkeys and cakes; Sweets and fruits; Jams and jams; Drinks and refreshments

The president of the MACMA, Vicent Grimalt, has indicated that this second edition will allow a greater diffusion of a work of great gastronomic and cultural value.
