On the occasion of the programming destined to commemorate the centenary of the death of the most international Valencian painter, Joaquín Sorolla, a photographic contest has been launched by the Agrupació Fotogràfica Xàbia (AFX) with the collaboration of the Town hall.
The contest is titled, Sorolla returns to Xàbia. Participants must give a personal touch to the artist's work, therefore, the work must be based on the life and work of Sorolla to create something new, personal and creative.
The awards ceremony will take place on October 15, 2023, within the celebration of the Photographic Rally organized by the Association, and these will be 400 euros, 250 euros and 150 euros. The maximum term for the delivery of the photographs of the contest will be September 21.
