Victories for Ade Moll and Dani Cepa and second drawer for Dani Cepa Jr in La Vila

February 27 from 2020 - 10: 56

Last Sunday the second race of the Open BTT-XCO of Valencia in the Alicante town of La Vila Joiosa.

The bikers enjoyed a sunny day and a privileged environment next to Playa del Torres, with a route of six kilometers and one hundred and fifty meters of unevenness that had areas of jumps, cant, natural rock garden within short and explosive climbs and descents technicians

In the first round, the Xàbia's Bike-Fasterwear team started: Juanjo Femenia, Dani Cepa, Àlex Seguí, Dani Cepa Jr and Alicia Margalejo.

In Master 30, Juanjo remained very solid and close to the podium but a chain exit in the last descent deprived him of fighting for the third drawer, complying with the fourth place.

In Master 40, Dani gave no respite to his rivals and was setting the pace of the race to take the victory. Àlex had a complicated exit that forced him to set foot on the ground staying at the tail of the squad, where he went back until he had a mechanical problem that he could solve and finish in ninth position.

Joy for the team to see Dani Cepa Jr on his first podium in Cadets, making a very regular race to be second in goal.

In Féminas Open, Alicia had a first third of career where physical problems relegated her to the last places but she felt better and could overcome up to fourth position.

Around noon the Moll brothers took the exit. Ade made a perfect race while in the lead trio, imposing a strong pace until the last lap where he managed to distance himself to win and get the leadership in the queen category.

Worst fortune was Saoro, who suffered a puncture in the first round that forced him to run to the technical zone to repair and continue climbing positions until the eighth place.

This weekend, the team will play Chelva XCO Internationals and the second round of the Circuit BTT Comarques Centrals.
