Mayor, José Chulvi, and the Councilor for Education and Equality, Montse Villaverde, attended yesterday the presentation of the work "Valentes" made by the fourth grade students of the María Inmaculada school on the occasion of International Women's Day.
The schoolchildren have worked with local female references such as Doña Ramona (activist), María Ferrer (activist), Sandra Castelló (soccer player), Asunción Cruañes (politician), Marta Espinós (pianist), Sor Catalina Bas (religious), Pepa Guardiola (writer), Miriam Llerena (percussionist), Nadine Haberl (singer-songwriter), Isabel Martí (ballerina), Catalina Quero ( activist), María Cardona (handball player), Gema Soliveres (soccer player) and María Isabel Ferrer (athlete).
An excellent project for such young children. Great job!
