The Spanish Paralympic sailor, Rafa Andarias, has achieved in the 2.4mR category the eleventh position in the For World Sailing Championship, the Adapted Sailing World Championship, which took place between the 3 and 7 days in July at the Yacht Club of Puerto Sherry, specifically in the Port of Santa María.
Andarias, with some candles manufactured by himself, competed against the best adapted sailors in the world. In the four days of competition, the Alicante went from less to more and achieved as best partials a fourth and a fifth place of the twelve tests held. Thus, Rafa Andarias has managed to position himself in the 11 position, improving his fourteenth position in the world last year in Sheboygan, United States.
