The municipal water company, Amjasa, reports that there has been another breakdown in the main supply pipe in the Camí Vell de Gata area. Due to this incident, the subscribers of the Vell de Gata camí between Mauritania street and Cantallops camí have been left without service.
Amjasa is already working on restoring the service through a provisional laying with the secondary network (it is estimated that around 20:XNUMX p.m. the houses will have water again).
At the same time, an emergency and larger work is being prepared in the main network to completely replace the pipe in the area and avoid new problems. And it is that, as they explain from the water company, the experience in failures that involve the cut of supply is that they later leave air pockets in the pipes that can lead to new breaks.
To carry out this work, it will be necessary to cut traffic on the stretch of Camí Vell de Gata between Calle Norway and Calle Cantallops.
