A new seal of quality will recognize the excellence of the Alicante rice

The Association of Hotel Business Owners of Alicante -APEHA- with the support of the Costa Blanca Board of Trustees have promoted a new badge that will recognize the quality and excellence of the paellas and rice dishes that are cooked in the restaurants of the province of Alicante.

This prestigious label will be awarded by an expert committee based on the taste, texture, temperature and appearance of this traditional dish, taking into account also the use of native products, the type of rice, the quality of the olive oil or the use of natural dyes, among other aspects.

The Tourism Promotion deputy, Eduardo Dolón, expressed during the presentation of the seal of quality that "This project, designed together with the hospitality sector of the province, will serve to distinguish the excellence of our establishments and guarantee the level of our gastronomy, putting it in value so that it is an important tourist attraction 365 days a year".

Since the Diputación de Alicante have advanced that in the coming days will be held meetings with the various municipalities of the province to present this project in order to make it known to restaurants in your municipality so they can benefit from this initiative.
