A massive children's Carnival parade has filled the historic center of Xàbia

The streets of the historic center of Xàbia have been filled with joy, music, color and creativity with one of the parades of Carnival more massive, the children's parade. And it is that, after the stoppage of celebrations due to the pandemic, hundreds of people have taken to the streets, dressed in their best designs, to experience the Carnival party.

As a family or a group of friends, people wanted to return to the good festive atmosphere parading from the Plaza Marina Alta, passing through Príncipe de Asturias, Carrer Oms and ending in the Plaza de la Constitución where an entertainment group filled this day with joy festive and encouraged the audience.

Undoubtedly, the originality of the costumes has reigned in this parade: beekeepers, unicorns, dominoes, bees, thieves, cotton candy or superheroes. The Sant Joan Festival Commission, with the support of the council, has been the organizer of the event and has awarded the prizes for the best costumes in each category.

Awards

In category Baby (from 0 to 4 years); The winners have been the little ones dressed as owl, giraffe and pirate.

In category comparsa (group), the winners have been: the avatar (members of the youth party commission) with the third prize, the second prize has been for the beekeepers and the first prize for the group dressed as cotton candy.
