This afternoon, around 17 hours, there was an accident on the road of Cabo la Nao-Plà, in front of the Aldi supermarket. A motorist was injured when he hit the median that separates both directions from the road.
Apparently, according to the testimony of the accident's friends, the motorist was driving only towards the historic center when he was overtaken by another motorcycle that has come very close to him and has caused him to lose control of his own motorcycle and has finished colliding with the central part of the road that separates both directions.
As a result of the accident, the injured motorist, on a first diagnosis upon arrival of the SAMU, presented a broken leg and some minor injury.
As witnesses of the event have indicated, the motorcycle that caused the accident has not stopped after the incident. The young man has been transferred to the hospital in Dénia for a deeper examination and medical intervention.
The Local Police of Xàbia and SAMU have come to the scene of the accident.
