The youth team Club Handbol Xàbia won in the second leg played in the Pavilion Miguel Buigues from Xàbia to Villa Blanca Altea by 22 to 16. Already in the first leg, played in Altea, the triumph was for the formation xabiera by 27 to 32. On this occasion, coach xabiero chose to give minutes to three players of cadet category and that was noticed during the match.
The first part, with an orderly defense and a very concentrated goalkeeper, was achieved that with five minutes remaining, those of Altea had scored only two goals in their locker. With the aim of involving all players during the game, there were numerous changes and came to rest with a short 9-4.
The second half was more disputed and with numerous cards, including red cards and expulsions that in some way spoiled the game. However, the superiority of the Xabieros was always ahead. Given such an advantage on the scoreboard, the local coach opted to go testing game situations for future matches. There were players who changed their usual position as a rehearsal for the next season.
At the end of regulation time, 22 scored 16, which was a true reflection of what was seen on the court. Those from Xàbia played one of their most serious and orderly matches seen in this campaign.
