The Civil Guard has dismantled an indoor marijuana plantation in Xàbia detaining a total of three people and a fourth is being investigated for being the alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health (for cultivating marijuana) and another for fluid defrauding electric.
The Civil Guard of Jávea had knowledge, at the beginning of last June, of the possible existence of a marijuana plantation inside a dwelling of that locality. The agents of the Judicial Police Team took charge of the investigation, proceeding to the entry and registration of the address in question, after numerous inquiries, resulting in the finding of 550 marijuana plants. 1.625 euros were also intervened in cash, three vehicles, four mobile phones and a laptop.
For all this, the three people involved, two women of 23 and 38 years and one man, of 50 years were arrested and a fourth man, of 37 years, is being investigated for an alleged crime against public health (for cultivation of marijuana) and by fraud of electric fluid.
The three detainees and the investigated, all of them Spaniards, have already been brought to justice, being provisionally released with charges, awaiting trial.
