The festival continues to fill the streets of Xàbia. This Thursday, the traditional parade took place through the decorated streets. This year, Five streets have participated in the contest, showing off their finest finery and transforming their corners into authentic artistic settings.
El first prize The award was given to Tossal de Baix Street, which impressed the jury and the public with a large, colorful macramé ceiling suspended between the facades. A true example of craftsmanship.
El second prize The award went to Jesús Nazareno Street, which dedicated its decoration to music, with a creative proposal full of rhythm, color and sound references that captured the attention of all attendees.
The awards, consisting of a symbolic rough stone engraved with the prize and a cash prize, were presented by the festival's leading representatives: Ainhoa Buigues, Queen of Foguera 2025, and Laia Sedeño, Children's Queen. The two young women were responsible for bringing joy to the residents.
First Cremàs
Hundreds of residents took to the streets to experience this festive event. This parade also included another traditional and symbolic event in Les Fogueres, the Cremà.
Before the parade began, the Bonfire was lit at the Santa María de Betania Day Center, and finally, at the Hermanos Cholbi Nursing Home. A moving event attended by residents and residents of both centers. The bonfire, built by the residents themselves, symbolized the inclusive and supportive spirit of the festivities.
