Everything ready for the Xàbia pyrowater show

One of the special nights of Xàbia arrives, that of September 8. An event marked by many on the calendar, not only because it marks the end of summer, but also because of the fireworks show that puts an end to the town's Mare de Déu de Loreto festivities.

The castle, launched from the sea, illuminates the bay of Xàbia for about 20 minutes. From several minutes before its start, hundreds of people gather on the Paseo Marina Española, Pintor Joaquín Sorolla, Puerto Pesquero and first Montañar, as well as terraces and balconies so as not to miss the long-awaited show.

Yesterday, Thursday, the Festival Councilor, Mavi Pérez, and the head of the Local Police, approached the breakwater to supervise the assembly of the pyrotechnics on the platforms, as well as security.

At noon today, the sea was calm and everything was ready for at 00:30 hours, the sky and the sea of ​​Xàbia would be filled with color, by Vulcano pyrotechnics.

    It will be better for the future to change the schedule a little...put it around 23:00 p.m. because there are many children who would love to watch it too but they can't wait until 00:30 a.m. to stay awake.
