The Cabo la Nao diving center in Xàbia is one of eight pioneers to join this initiative, firmly committed to protecting the marine environment and promoting conscious and regenerative diving. This initiative, a pioneer at the national level, aims to reduce the environmental impact of underwater activities and promote marine education through transformative experiences.
Cabo la Nao represents the Costa Blanca's commitment to this vision, leveraging its rich biodiversity and unique marine enclaves to raise awareness about the importance of conserving our seas.
The centers offer options for all levels, including educational snorkeling for beginners, with teaching materials and specialized guides, and advanced dives for certified divers, with 12 experiences that include nudibranch observation, marine cleanups, and reef tours.
In addition, other activity programs are being implemented to highlight the role of women in the marine environment, conduct underwater cleanup campaigns and school workshops, and promote social inclusion by facilitating access for vulnerable groups through incentives and training.
The official launch of Green Diving is planned for June 2025.
