Last night, at 21:50 p.m., a forest fire broke out at the end of La Sella street (dead end), in the La Corona urbanization of Xàbia, near Montgó.
Specifically, it originated in a clearing plot, in which there was scrub and scrubland, without pine forest, burning about 300 square meters, according to reports from the Town Hall.
The quick intervention of the Dénia Park firefighters prevented the fire from spreading and affecting nearby homes and the natural park, with the flames being controlled at 23:06 p.m. and extinguished at 23:22 p.m. The Local Police, Civil Protection, Civil Guard and a Red Cross ambulance also attended the scene, although there was no major damage.
