The remodeling works of the children's playground located in the Plaza Reina Sofía in the Thiviers neighborhood are one step away from starting. In fact, this morning the work to remove the current rubber began and, in the next few days, the children's games will also be removed.
The remodeling project of the new park, which will revolve around the motto 'Seven Seas', has an execution period of about seven months and a budget of 292.719,60 euros (VAT included). The company in charge of the work is the UTE (Unión Temporal de Empresas) Parque Jávea.
The new children's area, with a surface area of 3.420 square meters, will be divided into three areas: children's games, a bio-healthy area with games tables and a differentiated sports area.
In addition, the project contemplates the change of lighting, a solution to end the dragging of sand and earth to the public highway, the maintenance of large trees to ensure shade and renovation of the gardening for one with better maintenance.
The play areas will have signs indicating the different areas and ages of use, as well as the
limitation of access to animals. Regarding access, the new park will have a fencing facility that will allow it to be closed at night, there will be good visibility to avoid vandalism and the access entrances will be reorganized.
