The cyclist Moll Saor of the Portal de la Marina-Xàbia's Bike, took the podium in the first stage of the XXVIII Volta a la Marina held in Ondara. Moll, he donned the jersey that credits him as the best cyclist in the Elite category. A fair reward for the great work the team did at this stage.
As usual in a stage with 200 runners, the nerves were evident in the first kilometers of it. The team of the Portal de la Marina, always had prominence, since in the first flying goal, Juanjo Femenía placed in the fourth place.
