January 21 from 2020 - 07: 42

The second stage of the Volta Ciclista a la Marina was held, leaving and arriving at Xaló. A total of 136 cyclists took the exit on a cold morning where the wind made an appearance making the runners' actions very difficult.

The winner of this stage was the local Moll Saor, from the Xàbia's Bike-Fasterwear team, which with a time of 1: 43.21, stood alone on the finish line, after covering the 64.6Km of the route. This gives the winner of the race an average of 37.500 km / hour.

As a connoisseur of the route, Saoro Moll was able to seize the moment to launch his attack at a key moment and ride alone, the last twenty kilometers, until crossing the finish line, and arrive alone, before the joy of his neighbors who in the final meters did not stop encouraging him.

Behind came a small group led by the leader, Aitor Escobar, who entered 26 seconds behind the winner, giving time to Moisés Espinós, Ade Moll, Saoro's companions, and Sergio Torres. Three seconds from them, Frederic Ivars entered. A great role played by the Xàbia's Bike-Fasterwear team at this stage, by placing several of its riders among the best.

The general classification of the Volta is headed by Aitor Escobar followed by Salva Moll at 10 seconds and Moisés Espinós at 39 seconds.

The third stage will take place this Sunday in Xàbia, specifically it will be the XIII San Sebastià Trophy, patron of Xàbia, test organized by the Club Ciclista Jávea It has a route of 68,30 km.
