During this morning, Salvamento Marítimo has towed a boat that had been adrift since yesterday, Tuesday. As indicated on social networks, the Picaolas sailboat, 40 feet, was without a machine due to having suffered an electrical failure 4 miles from Cap de Sant Martí or Cap Prim de Xàbia. Inside the boat was a 74-year-old man.
Given this event, the Valencia Maritime Rescue Coordination Center, upon receiving the notice, mobilizes the Salvamar boat 'Diphda', based in Xàbia, to tow it and take it to Calpe.
