With the aim of creating a school in Chiclayo-Peru, the Rotary Club of Jávea has organized two charity concerts for the days 2 and 3 of February that will take place, one in the Hotel La Sella Golf Resort in Dénia and the other in the Studio Jessica Bataille of Javea.
The concerts will be performed by the renowned pianist Pr. Nati Ballarín, recently named president of the World Piano Teachers Association / CV-Spain , and the Peruvian pianist Pr. José Marcos Gamarra. The current president of the Rotary Club, Mr. Ángel Palomar Nebot, explained that the action "is to carry out the construction of a basic school with two classrooms, with all the infrastructure that entails, which will help very disadvantaged families and lack of resources, in a fishing village that was destroyed with the latest atmospheric phenomena, San José , Chiclayo area, in the north of Lima (Peru) ".
Palomar added that thanks to the selfless help of Nati Ballarín, and the Peruvian pianist, Nati's friend, José Marcos Gamarra, funds can be raised with these benefit concerts. The concert will have a repertoire "Very pleasant for the public, with Spanish music (Albéniz, Granados, García Abril ...) and music by Peruvian composers, including Prof. Gamarra himself, as well as some surprise", says the president of the Rotary Club.
The price varies in both concerts. On Friday, 2 at the Hotel La Sella Golf Resort, the entrance fee includes dinner at the Restaurant, for which the price is 50 €, and on Saturday 3 Day in February, at the Studio by Jessica Bataille, where a welcome drink is included. , the price is 15 €.
