Last night the extraordinary plenary requested by the councilors of the opposition took place to deal with the case of the works of the restaurant of the Second Mountain. With chronological explanation by the popular spokeswoman, Rosa Cardona, the debate began with a single objective, to know clearly what has happened with the project license for the project of the only unbuilt plot of the Second Mountain.
The popular mayor listed the steps taken by the Town hall since the license application began in 2016 and requested an explanation of the inconsistent issues, which in his opinion, and that of the councilors of the rest of the opposition parties, reflect the reports.
Cardona emphasized knowing why the speed of action in a building license, "Reports were made for practically three consecutive days thus granting the license finally on the third day." Also, the popular noted the "failure" of the government team when the deadline for the administrative presentation of the first lesivity file expires.
The opposition councilors have reiterated the lack of response in questions to the plenary or in the failure to convene a town planning commission to have the possibility of knowing closely the details of this case "and not having to summon this plenary session because it takes more than three months without having one".
Faced with these issues, the Mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, indicated that, at present, the file is not yet finalized due to lack of legal and technical reports that respond to allegations presented, "and for that reason no information commission has been convened."
Reproval of the mayor of Urban Planning
With respect to the xicotetion of the opposition (PP, Compromís, Citizens (not present in full) and Citizens for Jávea) in its instance of reproving the Town Planning Councilor, Isabel Bolufer, for her mismanagement in this case; it has been denied with the majority of the votes of the socialist group.
Although the councilors have indicated that this rejection was not against their person or management in general, "but for the management of the concession of work license to the restaurant of the Second Mountain", both Chulvi and the town planner herself have praised the work done and her career.
Bolufer has indicated the number of infringement files, fines and demolition orders issued by his department since 2015, when he was appointed councilor, compared to those made in 2014, "In a legislature we have tripled the management of these procedures."
For his part, the first mayor has extolled the work of the councilor and as a person. "Isabel is a worker, committed to her people and an impeccable career", Chulvi said.
Complaint of the owner of the work
Regarding the complaint of prevarication that, apparently, the promoter had filed against the mayor, the mayor and the technicians, José Chulvi has said he has not received any notification.
A complaint, as explained by the lawyer of the promoter, are acting within the law "and my license has dated 21 of October of 2019, it is compatible with the legal system of Jávea because the June 7 was lifted for the suspension of licenses and I already had it to comply with the regulations of the PGOU in force and I have the permission of Coasts ".
