The department of the environment and Xàbia beaches removed this morning a total of five boats that were in a state of abandonment in the surroundings of the Cala Granadella. The boats, which were near the pier and occupying public domain, have been declared as "waste" and taken to the municipal deposit.
This action improves both the image of an environment of high landscape value such as Cala Granadella as well as its safety, since the boats were without maintenance, with the risk that someone could be injured by splinters and rust.
