Early Monday morning, a man of 62 years, from the Basque Country, who every day makes the route of ascent to the Penon de Ifach in Calpe has suffered a fall and has had to be rescued by the helicopter of the Provincial Consortium firemen's.
When arriving at the place, the firemen and sanitaries have stabilized to the mountaineer, since it had suffered a blow in a flank. The man has been transferred to the fire station of Benidorm to take him by ambulance to the hospital in Villajoyosa where a more exhaustive assessment has been carried out.
