The Councilor for Women and Equality of Benitatxell, Myra Van't Hoff, announced the winner at the opening of the photo exhibition. Around some 30 images were presented to this contest. After knowing the winner, the accésit went to the local photographer Miguel Ferrer with Miram. A portrait of the look of an arab woman.
Also, the members of the jury, including Margaret Hales, who was recently named president of the European Union of Women, also made special mention of The marks of happiness, by María Perles, and He's got tattoos by Javier Yarnos.
