Rafa Andarias, second in the Spanish Championship of Adapted Sailing 2.4Mr

The Paralympic sailor Rafa Andarias was proclaimed runner-up in the Spanish Championship of Adapted Sailing 2.4Mr, in a comxicotetion that took place in Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz) with the participation of a score of boats.

During the four days of comxicotetion, Andarias achieved a total of 34 points in the 12 tests, achieving as best partial a first, four seconds and three third. This regularity in terms of results earned him the silver medal.

Rafa Andarias commented after the tests that "The Championship of Spain has gone very well. It has been a very complex race course and four days of comxicotetion, something that has not happened for a long time in a Spanish championship. It has been very positive and a preparation for the World Championship , which takes place two weeks later in the same waters. It's a good way to start the preparatory for the World Cup ".

In this comxicotetion, Rafa Andarias counted on the sponsorship of the Club Nautico de Javea y Amjasa. In addition, it has as partners A-Sails, Nautica, Mercury, Bertoni and Gottifredi Maffioli. Next week he will attend the World Championship, which will be held between the 1 and the 7 in July, in which he aspires to be in the top 10.
