What will the 2019 bring to Xàbia?

January 02 from 2019 - 11: 46

Today, 2 of January, of 2019, begins a new year of work. A year marked, on the one hand, by the political appointment of municipal and regional elections scheduled for next May, specifically, for Sunday 26 May. There are barely more than five months left, during which the political parties will work to contribute their best ideas and projects to the municipality and gain the confidence of the citizens.

Today we know the head of the list of the Socialist Party and the Popular Party. José Chulvi, resubmit his candidacy and Rosa Cardona, is the woman who will lead the popular. The other parties have not yet announced their 1 number.

Works

With respect to the pending works, although it was planned to inaugurate some large projects, the lack of responsibility of some successful bidders has made Xàbia stay in the same situation it was. For this 2019, although the work can not be realized, we do hope and trust that the Auditorium, the Puente de Triana and the municipal swimming pool project will begin to take shape.

On the other hand, the remodeling of the Avenida del Segundo Montañar, the boulevard of Avenida Juan Carlos I, as well as the Sorolla project or some of the plans of the Xàbia Marxa.

But in this year we can not leave aside the Edificant Plan. An action financed by the Generalitat Valenciana in which the schools of Xàbia will get the needed improvements to their facilities or the possible start of the construction of the new Graüll.

We are waiting for an 2019 full of new infrastructures that improve the daily life of the residents of Xàbia.

  1. Vicenta says:

It is little shame what happens in javia being a tourist site. All the plots and the dirty roads without the Town Hall hobligue to linpiarlos.

  2. Fine says:

    Perfectly agree

  3. PLAYA DEL ARENAL NEIGHBORS says:

Will 2019 also be the year in which the noise pollution suffered by the Arenal area and the request that it be declared a ZAS area is solved by the Xàbia Town Hall? Will the premises have the corresponding licenses and will they comply with the law by adjusting to the decibels that are marked? Will the council do something to advance the coastal path project? Will it solve the problem of flooding in some celles and avenues in the beach area due to lack of adequate sewage? Will the Arenal playground on Avda. De Paris be equipped accordingly and will the new sidewalks be built? Will the promenade be connected by opening the way between the palm trees so that tourists and residents stop passing between the garbage containers to access it? Will the 'urban gardens' next to the public school be started again? Will the Civic Punt have a place capable of offering library services, events and exhibitions and Wi-Fi for young people who cannot travel to the historic center? Etc, etc ... More than a thousand people live all year round in the Arenal area (it is in the INE) it is not only a place for drinks and leisure, and it has lacked adequate social facilities for decades. https://comarcalcv.com/sindic-insta-ayuntamiento-xabia-que-tome-medidas-locales-ocio-arenal/
