The students of the Rock & Roll class of the CEIP Trenc d'Alba continue with their literary project. Today, the student Valeria Galán tells us about her literary review on 'Mirabella and the school of magic'.
The adventure story narrates what day-to-day is like in a magic school; what do they learn, what happens to them... but what does Valeria think about it?
Summary: Mirabella is going to start her first day of class after the holidays. When she arrived she met her friend Carlota and gave her a bottle of a potion that makes your hair grow and since potions are not allowed she has to keep it for herself without anyone finding out about it.
Classes are about to start. The first class is about potions and they have to mix various ingredients so that the plants change color. They take the ingredients and begin to pour them into a cauldron, but Mirabella unintentionally pours the jar that Carlota had given her before class began and suddenly their hair begins to grow a lot.
Miss Malarueca took a pair of scissors and cut their hair. They stayed to sweep up all the hair that she had cut and they were left without lunch but Mirabella had a piece of toast that her mother had prepared for her and when she bit into it she found spiders.
She hates spiders so they finished cleaning up everything and went to the last class which was broom flying (Mirabella loves this class because she is so good at it).
They went outside and Miss Malarueca explained some kind of rules so that it wouldn't happen like this morning because if they didn't follow the rules they could fall into the murky and foggy pond. They couldn't get past the tree and for Mirabella it was super easy because she practices a lot at home.
Carlota and Mirabella started to fly and they started very well but they almost collided and then to avoid colliding Mirabella climbed higher and Carlota told her not to go any higher because she could fall into the cloudy and misty pond because it was very windy and it started well but then it started to get much more windy and Mirabella almost fell but she was able to stand it and Carlota told her from down there that she was flying too high but she ignored her and the wind began to drag her towards the treetops at full speed towards the pond. She tried to go down into the trees and Miss Malarueca was right, the wind was very strong and she was left hanging from the broom.
With force she managed to climb again and she noticed some noises and it was Carlota who grabbed her broom and grabbed Mirabella and they managed to hold on a bit but they fell into the pond.
In the end classes were over and they went home and made some ice creams.
Personal opinion: I liked it a lot because it tells about her adventures and her days at school with her best friend Carlota and her family. She is fun with her inseparable pet, Violeta. She knows how to make the most of her life.
